March Groceries: Week 1

Another light shopping week here, well under budget. I am quite serious about reducing some of our stash of items. I deliberately did not shop very good Catalina deals this week because I don't have anywhere to put it all. Also, frankly, I haven't been feeling well for awhile and expect to continue feeling poorly for a while longer, which makes grocery shopping and cooking less appealing. For dinners, we ate pizza, rice and sausage skillet, and meatloaf.

Quaker instant oatmeal, French toast bagels, coffee creamer (free coupon), vitamins, small wastebasket

frozen fried chicken, dozen eggs, tater tots, string cheese, 16 oz steel cut oats ($1.79!), 2 lb carrots, can of water chestnuts, box of instant vanilla pudding, 3 lb bananas, bag of cosmic potato snacks, 5 lb red potatoes, 2 gallons of milk, 2 boxes cornbread crackers, yellow cake mix, generic Fritos, barbecue potato chips
Total: $29.68

Week 1 Total: $39.78
